Disable Chrome new tab page background image
Although the image on the new tab page looks pretty good, not all users like it. In addition, seeing the same pictures every time you open a new tab may quickly bore you.
If you use the Chrome browser extensively, you may want to hide or delete pictures in Chrome’s new tab page. Fortunately, it’s easy to delete pictures from the background of the new tab page.
Let’s see how to stop the Chrome browser from using the image as the new tab background and restore the original no background or white background.
Please note that in this guide, we are using Chrome installed on a PC running Windows 10. However, these instructions must also apply to Chrome on the Mac.
