Contacts Not Saving on iPhone
The problem of not being able to save contacts on iPhone may be due to a glitch on your device, Apple’s iCloud server issue, iCloud synchronization issue, or the failure to recognize your Apple ID.
In some cases, the problem may also be due to a malfunction or malfunction of the related contact, phone, or messaging application.
Restart iPhone
The problem of not being able to save contacts on the iPhone may be caused by a minor software failure, which can be resolved by restarting the device.
Go to Settings > General > scroll down and tap on Shut Down. Wait for 30 seconds and restart your device by pressing the Power button.
Save to Contacts app
If you can’t save contacts on your iPhone while using a phone or messaging application, you can try to save your contacts directly to the address book application.
Open the Contacts app on your iPhone and tap on the + icon located at the top-right corner. On the next screen, enter the Name, Phone Number, and other details as required and tap Done.

On the next pop-up, select the Merge option.
Re-enable email contacts
If your contacts are saved to Gmail, Outlook, or another email service provider, re-enabling email contacts can help solve the problem.
Go to Settings > Contacts > Accounts > on the next screen, select your Email Service provider. On the next screen, move the toggle next to Contacts to the OFF position.
Wait for 30 seconds and move the toggle next to Contacts to ON position and see if you are now able to save Contacts to iPhone.
