How to add widget icons back to the Windows 11 taskbar, Windows 11 is the latest version of the Windows operating system, with a feature called Widgets. The widget feature is not a new feature. According to Microsoft, Widgets bring you closer to the information you need and want.

By default, when you open the Widgets panel, it will display weather, news, stocks, sports, and other information that may be of interest to you. Right-click an empty space on the taskbar, and then click Taskbar Settings to open the Settings> Personalization> Taskbar page.

In the taskbar item section, click the toggle button next to the widget to add the widget icon to the taskbar. Click it again and it will hide the widget icon in the taskbar.

Open the settings application. Go to Personalization> Taskbar. Close the widget to remove it from the taskbar.
