Quick tip: Generally, it is recommended to use a number when possible, which is half and a half of the total available memory of the “initial size” and three times the available memory of the “maximum size”.

  1. Click the Set button.
  2. Click the OK button.
  3. Click the OK button again.
  4. Restart your computer.

After completing these steps, the device will restart, and you will notice an increase in performance when you run the application (if you want to increase the paging file size in the solid state drive, the performance will be even higher).

If the new settings cause problems, you can always revert the changes following the same instructions, but on step 10, make sure to select the “System Managed Size” option, and then check “Automatically manage page file size for all drives” Options.
